STAFFORD It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony “Tony” Ross Stafford on Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the age of twenty-three years. Tony was born in Grande Prairie. He grew up in Edson and attended high school in Red Deer. Tony worked in production testing with various oil companies throughout Alberta and Quebec. He cherished special occasions with his family and was a caring and thoughtful friend to everyone he met. Anthony is lovingly remembered by his dad, Ross Stafford, step-mom Karen Selkirk, Sister Brooklyn (Travis) and step-dad Dave Chaluk. His memory will be further cherished by his grandparents Ruth and Denis Stafford and Fred and Frieda Hutcheon as well as by a large extended family and many special friends. Tony was predeceased by his mom, Carol Lynn Stafford (nee Hutcheon) in 2002. Relatives and friends are welcome to pay their respects to the late Mr. Anthony Stafford at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 – 67 A Street, Red Deer on Friday, September 2, 2005 from 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. as well as at Crossroads Church, 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County (on 32nd Street, west of Hwy. #2) on Saturday, September 3, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:50 p.m. Funeral Services for Anthony Stafford will be held at Crossroads Church on Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. with Leanne V. Hall officiating. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to STARS Foundation, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7.
