STAM 1957-2007 It is with extreme sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Herman Stam on Saturday, August 4 2007 in British Columbia. Herman was born January 20, 1957 in the Netherlands. He immigrated to Canada in 1980, bringing with him incredible talent as a Machinist. Through this he started building a great life for himself, which included bringing the love of his life Sandra (van Tol) to Canada. Herman and Sandra were married in 1986 and together they had 2 wonderful children who were the joy in Herman's life. Herman had many friends and considered them all family. His relaxed attitude, adventurous spirit and sparkly blue eyes will be deeply missed and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Herman leaves to mourn his loss, his wife and best friend, Sandra, daughter, Alex, and son, Mitchell all of Red Deer. His brother, Andries (Emy), sister, Bea (Theo) and children Frank & Dionne all of Holland. His father and mother in-law, Mourits and Janna van Tol, sister in-law, Stephanie van Tol, as well as many very special cousins, aunts, uncles and friends in Holland, USA, Canada and New Zealand. A service will be held in honor of Herman’s life at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 45 Street, Red Deer, on Friday, August 10 2007 at 1:00pm.
