PIEBIAK Stanley Mike Nov. 1, 1937 - Jan. 22, 2008 Stan passed away at the age of 70 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Joyce, and their three children Mike, Daryl and Carla; his sister Christine (Peter), brothers Zyg (Muriel), Rick (Anita) and Robert, as well as nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Stan was born in Poland and came to the Eaglesham area as a two year old. He still spoke Polish very well. Stan worked in the Real Estate field for many years and volunteered on various boards for the town of Blackfalds. He enjoyed being involved in the growth and promotion of his town. His passions were Real Estate, curling, and baseball. Stan was also the past Grand Knight of St. Vladimir's Council #9559. A funeral service will be held in Lacombe at Wolf Creek Community Church on Hwy. 12 East and the corner of Wolf Creek Drive on Tuesday, January 29 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Deer SPCA or the Diabetes Association. Arrangements in the care of Wilson's Funeral Chapel, Lacombe.
