STENSON MARION AILEEN June 22, 1919 - Sept.5, 2007 Marion Aileen Stenson of Lacombe passed away at the Lacombe Extended Care at the age of 88 years. Marion was born at Champion, Alberta to William and Carrie Schmeelke. Marion is survived by her husband of 59 years, Earl; daughters, Valerie Stenson and her husband, Floyd Berry, and Laurel Douglas; grandsons, Craig (Lori) Douglas and Scott (Angela) Douglas; sister-in-law, Dora Schmeelke, as well as numerous nephews & nieces. Marion was pre-deceased by her son-in-law, Phil Douglas; parents, William & Carrie Schmeelke; sister, Elsie Leonhardt; brother Leith Schmeelke; sister- in-law Muriel Stenson and brothers-in-law, Eldon Stenson and Victor Leonhardt and also a infant sister Mamie. Funeral service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be at The Fairview Cemetery, Hastings Coulee (Forestburg, Alberta). If friends and family wish, in lieu of flowers donations to the Alberta Lung Association or the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation are greatly accepted.
