YOUNG Stewart Ferguson Nov. 8, 1958 - Dec. 29, 2007 It is with deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Stewart on December 29, 2007 at the age of 49. Stewart was raised on a dairy farm at Brooks and attended school at Duchess, Alberta and Olds Agricultural College. He loved the game of hockey, even more so time spent fishing and camping with Scottie. His zest for life and infectious wit brought smiles to those who came to know and love him. Fort McMurray became a work designation for several years, before settling in the Penhold area. He established his welding business and took pride in servicing his friends and neighbours. He leaves to mourn his son Scott; his mother Irene Armstrong (Mac) Red Deer; brother Norman (Sara) Brooks; his sisters Reta Scheuerman (Ken) Brooks, Mary Quirk (Ken) St.Albert, nephews Jeffrey (Dawn) Rasmuson, Brian Rasmuson; two nieces Lorna Young and Mareta Rasmuson; great nephew Jayce Rasmuson; Ann Patterson, (mother of Scott). He leaves behind many friends; with special mention to Dave and NadineYoung and Heather, Holly and Joanne of Duchess. Stewarts greatest pride was his son Scott and his abiding faith in his heavenly Father. He was predeceased by his father Norrie Young. A Memorial service will be held at the Innisfail Funeral Home and Crematorium (4415-49 St. Innisfail, Alberta) on Saturday January 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. As a memorial tribute to Stewart Young a tree will be planted in the Tree Memorial Park (Innisfail) by HEARTLAND FUNERAL SERVICES LTD.
