STRATFORD In loving Memory of BARRY LEE STRATFORD, Son, Brother, Dad, Husband, Grandfather and Uncle. Barry was born January 2, 1951 in Moose Jaw, SK. Barry passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Grey Nuns Auxilliary Hospital, Edmonton, AB. Barry is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Judy Stratford; his cherished children and grandchildren: Shelly (Kim) Dahlman with their children: Austin, Shayla, Chase, Jerad, Brady, Darah; Jeremy Stratford with his son, Riley; Chad (Renee) McDonald; Shauna (Joshua) Dukes with their children: Indiana, and baby Mac; Pamela Buijs with her children: Silas and Noa; Jason (Kari) Buijs with their children: Aiden and Jayna. Barry’s memory will also be cherished by his mother, Ethellynn Stratford and his siblings: Ted (Peggie) McHolm, Gordon (Eileen) McHolm, Shirley (Grant) Hutchinson. All of his nieces and nephews will also dearly miss him. A Celebration of Barry’s Life will be held at Beulah Alliance Church, 17504 ~ 98A Avenue N.W. Edmonton, AB on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Allen Powles officiating. A second Funeral Service for Barry will be held at the Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane, Moose Jaw, SK on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Greg Dermody officiating. Barry will always be remembered for his kind and generous heart, jovial spirit, his love for music, humor and unending creative talents. Barry’s sales skills in different industries has influenced and touched the lives of many people. Barry will forever be remembered and loved by all his family and everyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be forwarded to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, in care of the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2. We would like to thank all the family, friends and caregivers who gave us so much support during and after Barry’s illness. Special thanks to all the Doctors and Staff at the Cross Cancer Hospital and General Hospital for their special care and compassion during Barry’s time with them.
