Sylvia PEARCE

PEARCE Sylvia Pearce of Red Deer passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on October 1, 2005 at the age of 91. Sylvia was born in England in 1914. She married Stanley Pearce in 1945 and came to Canada as a War Bride. Sylvia loved music and she and Stanley enjoyed dancing at the Elks Club. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 35, a member of the Alberta War Brides Association and a lifetime member of the Royal Purple Lodge 21. Sylvia is survived by one sister-in-law, Edna Hudson, of England. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley in 2000. A Funeral Service will be held at the Red Deer Funeral Home (6150 – 67 Street) on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Alto-Reste Cemetery.
