VEENSTRA Mr. Henry Veenstra of Red Deer, Alberta passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the age of 51 years. Henry was born on September 2, 1954 at Calgary, Alberta and was raised at Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Henry leaves to mourn his loving wife of twenty-two years, Colleen and his children Harvey (fifteen), Bailey (thirteen) and Falon (eleven) years. He will be sadly missed by his parents Wesley and Elsie Veenstra, four sisters Marianne Veenstra, Shirley (Lou) Harris, Maxine (Gilles) Chartrand, and Sandra Veenstra (Jack Larabe) two brothers James (Mary Ann) and John (Alene) Veenstra, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and many caring friends. Henry was predeceased by an infant daughter Mallory in 1985. Cremation was entrusted to Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. A public Celebration of Henry's Life will be held March 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Balmoral Bible Chapel at 30th Ave. and 55th Street (Highway 11). Refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations for Henry's children may be made at any branch of Community Savings.
