HEALY, Verna Eleanor It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Verna Eleanor Healy of Red Deer, at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Monday, August 9, 2004 at the age of 84 years. Verna was born on December 6, 1919 at Halkirk, Alberta. She lived in Red Deer, Calgary and Lethbridge, Alberta, finally moving back to Red Deer in 1990. Verna will be very deeply and sadly missed by her loving family. Verna leaves to mourn her loss, her sons, Gordon (Ruth) of MacDowell, Saskatchewan, Les (Roberta) of St. Albert, Alberta, grandchildren, Sean, Brian, Patty and Aaron and great granddaughter, Aleah. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Dorothy Vahey and Joan Farr, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Verna was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sydney in 1989 and a brother, Ernie Rodway in 2001. A Celebration of Verna's Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 35, 2810 Bremner Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta on Monday, August 16, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
