JANSSEN, Victor Thor May 9, 1922 – May 29, 2006 Vic's family is saddened to announce his unexpected passing on Monday, May 29, after a recent diagnosis of leukemia. Vic is survived by his wife Jean and will be lovingly remembered by her as well as his 6 children, Doug ( Elaine), Gord (Jeannie), Dale (Brenda), Larry (Sherri), Lori and Kathy. Also left to mourn his passing, are his 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who were the joys of his life. Vic will be fondly remembered by his brother and best friend Bill Janssen, his sister-in-law, Carol and their children Bill and Patti. Vic was pre-deceased by his beloved first wife Kay, and his daughter-in-law Shirley. Vic will be remembered by everyone he touched with his extraordinary optimism and positive outlook on life. A Celebration of Vic's Life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 8810 Meadowlark Road, (88 Avenue, 159 Street) Edmonton.
