METZGER Walter Metzger of Innisfail passed away at the Rosefield Centre on September 3, 2005 at the age of 83 years. Walter was born in Carbon, AB on March 25, 1922. He served in the Canadian Army from December 1942 to March 1946. He married Margaret Bell on November 5, 1949. Walter worked all his life within the Innisfail region up to the age of 60. Walter & Margaret raised 7 children in Innisfail. For the last 6 years he resided at Rosefield Centre in Innisfail. Two of his greatest pleasures in life were his love of fishing and camping. Walter is survived by his wife Margaret of 55 years, his children Gail (Bill), Don, Terry (Lori), Melvin (Lorna), Kim (Lori), Bradley, and Charlene (Todd); 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and 2 sisters.
