STYLES We are sad to announce the passing of Glenn Keith Styles on December 25th, 2005 at Alligator Bay, Long Island, Bahamas, due to a traffic accident. Glenn was born on August 2, 1981, in Edmonton, AB. He enjoyed living in Yahk, BC before moving to Red Deer in 1998 where he attended Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School. Glenn was involved in numerous school activities and will be remembered for his generous demeanor and the ability to make anyone smile at anytime. He belonged to the 78th Battery of the 20th Field Regiment of Red Deer. At the time of his passing, Glenn was on leave from the military to visit his parents in the Bahamas for Christmas. He was scheduled to depart for a tour in Afghanistan in late January. Glenn truly had a passion for life; he lived each and every day to the fullest. Every place that he went, he would leave a deep impression on every life he touched. Glenn will be lovingly remembered by his parents Brian and Carole Styles as well as by his brother and sister-in-law Westly and Sherri Styles. His grandparents Keith and Elizabeth Styles, his grandmother Norma Pouliot, great grandmother Rosie Shapland as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins, will cherish his memory. Glenn’s memory will also be treasured by an abundance of great friends. He will be very missed by all. Friends wishing to pay their respects to the late Mr. Glenn Styles are welcome to gather with the family for a time of Visitation at the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287– 67A Street, Red Deer on Thursday, January 5, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. or at the Crossroads Church, 38105 Range Road 275, Red Deer County (on 32nd Street, west of Hwy. #2) on Friday, January, 6th, 2006 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:50 p.m. A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held at CrossRoads Church on Friday, January 6th, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Al Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Alto Reste Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire memorial donations in the name of the late Mr. Glenn Styles may be directed to the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta, 205, 609-14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 2A1or to the 20 Field Regiment Unit Fund (marked for Junior Ranks' Mess), c/o Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287– 67A Street, Red Deer, AB T4P 3V9.
