WEIDENHAMER Mrs. Catherine Agnes Weidenhamer (nee Robertson) of Red Deer passed away peacefully in her sleep at Ashley Cottage on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at the age of 91. She was born on March 20, 1914 at Athalmer, B.C.. Catherine grew up and spent many years in Calgary before marrying Earl and moving to Red Deer where they made their home and their only child was born. She spent many years working as a comptroller in the dairy industry, firstly with the Union Milk Company in Calgary, then Silverwoods and Alpha Dairy in Red Deer. Due to declining health, Catherine resided until her passing at Woodlea Cottage and then Ashley Cottage. Catherine is survived and will be lovingly remembered by her son Stuart (Debbie) of Red Deer and grandsons, Kristofer of Red Deer and Jason of Edmonton. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family. Catherine was predeceased by husband Earl, her brother Stuart and her mother Catherine Stuart Robertson. In respecting Catherine’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society, P.O. Box 22015, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 6X4 or to the charity of the donors choice.
