Welsford

Welsford Ruth Melvina Welsford passed away on March 29, 2005 at the age of 83 years. Ruth loved music, reading, crocheting and was an excellent seamstress. She was a member of the Red Deer Legion and an active member of the Golden Circle. She looked forward to and enjoyed the grandchildren’s visits in the summer. Going to the park was a favorite outing with a little picnic basket. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her son Arthur and Lorraine Welsford and her daughter Alice and Don Ervin; grandchildren: Cherie and John Gwin, Rodney and Donna Odegaard, Blaine and Terrie Odegaard, Vernon and Mae Odegaard, Jody and Rod Misunis, Darcy and Terry Welsford, Charolette and Willy Jones; six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brothers: Herman and Anne, Earl and Beverley, and Andrew; sisters: Eleanor Hallett, Hilda Blanchard, Dolly and Jim Grant, Carol and Gene Dufva, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William and her parents; sister Ida Ganske; brothers Alrik Anderson and Charles Anderson; sister-in-law Dorothy Anderson and brother-in-law Harry Blanchard. A Funeral Service will be held at Baker Funeral Chapel, 5302 – 50th, Wetaskiwin on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Wetaskiwin Memorial Cemetery.
