WILL

WILL (Schmitke) Mrs. Tresia Doris Will (Schmitke) passed away peacefully on January 22, 2008 at the Lacombe Extended Care Facility at the age of 93. Tresia was born near Bassano, Alberta to Solomon and Mary Schmitke June 27, 1914, the second in a family of ten children. She married John Will December 15, 1938 and they settled on a farm outside of Lacombe in 1950 where they raised their four children. John and Tresia were very active in the Seventh Day Adventist Church enjoying meeting people and volunteering their help wherever they could. Tresia gained the reputation of a giving heart and a wonderful cook who would feed the world if she could. She was also able to grow the best vegetable garden and was an accomplished grower of many varieties of flowers. The unconditional love Tresia gave to each one of her family remained throughout her ninety three years until the last moment she held our hands. She will forever be the heart of our family. Tresia is survived by four children; Fred (Marilyn) Will of Red Deer, David (Lynn) Will of Lacombe, Beverly (Jim) Bauer of Quesnel, B.C. and Barbara (Charles) Middleton of Edmonton. She is also survived by her sisters Marion and Emma and one remaining brother Ben. Tresia will also be sadly missed by her loving nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; Brent Will, Kari (Jason Middleton, James and Conner); Doug Will, (Julie, Kelsey and Kristin), Lisa (Brent Bailey, Jacob, Zachary and Nathaniel), Greg Bauer, Jan (Rob Mussleman, Jaden and Amelia), Michael Bauer (Jackie, Gavin), Kurt Middleton, Craig Middleton (Shawna, Tyler and Natalie).Tresia was predeceased by her loving husband John in 1997 as well as siblings John, Robert, Sarah, Mavis, Emmanuel, and Ronald. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 27th 2008 at 1:00 P.M. from the Lacombe Community Seventh Day Adventist Church 5810 45th St. Lacombe, AB. Family interment will follow in the Lacombe Fairview Cemetery, Lacombe.
