It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) Gabriel Woof at the age of 69 following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Red Deer and attended school at River Glen and in Bawlf Alberta. He worked for Precision Geophysical, owned and operated gravel trucks and was a salesman for Kipp Scott where he achieved grand salesmaster status. His love of sales led him to start Freelance Equipment, Freelance Appraisals, Red Rose and Lacombe Trailer Sales and Rentals.

He enjoyed life to the fullest including: international jet boat racing, antique vehicles, hockey, country music, travel, animals and people. He was always extremely positive, optimistic, hard working, humorous and had a strong sense of community.

He is loved deeply and will be greatly missed by his wife Elaine, brother Ed (Simone) Woof and family, daughters Shelly (Chris) Mifflin, Cindy McCulough (Garth), son (Bob), grandchildren: Candace McCulough, Desiree' Wu, Christopher, Michael and Jeffrey Mifflin, and great-grandchildren Zane and Ryley.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Crossroads Church, 38105 Rd 275, Red Deer, on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

Special thanks to ER, unit 32 and the Red Deer Hospice staff.
