William MILLER

MILLER William Frank (Pumper) Bill Miller of Red Deer, AB. passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the age of 86 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children; Marcia, Wendy (Darrell), Bill (Carolin), Cathy (Richard), Heather, his grandchildren; Michelle (Rick) and J.R., Logan and Dustin, Stephen and Jeremy, Kiley and Sydney, and his great grandson Ethan. He is also survived by one brother and six sisters. Bill was predeceased by his wife Gladys in 2000. Bill was born in Cactus Lake, SK on July 27, 1921 and moved to Red Deer in 1954. He spent much of his life in the automobile industry, first working at Northwest Motors and then spending his last 25 working years at McFarlane Goodacre Motors. He loved to golf and spent much of his time at the Red Deer Golf and Country Club. In his retirement years he also enjoyed cheering on the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Blue Jays. He was an avid card player and delighted at winning by any means. He was a vibrant man who always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. We would like to thank everyone at Club Sierra where he enjoyed his last two years. He established many special friendships there and especially loved the dances and pub nights. We would also like to thank Dr. Moffatt and all the Doctors and Nurses on units 22, 35 and 33. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. A Funeral Service for Bill will be held at Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, 6287 - 67A Street, Red Deer, AB on Monday, September 10, 2007 at l:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the RDRHC, P.O.
