WINE Mr. Marvin Wine of Bentley, passed away peacefully at the Lacombe Hospital on January 14, 2008 at the age of 67. He was born in Trail, BC on October 31, 1940. Marvin moved to the Bentley area where he met Wilma (Spelt) and was married April 4, 1964. Together they resided on a farm west of Bentley and raised 4 children. Marvin spent over 40 years as a portable welder in the oil patch and met many life long friends there. He was an avid reader, photographer, sports fan, toy tractor collector and loved historical movies. Marvin had a wonderful sense of humor and a loving heart to the end. He will be greatly missed by his loving family: his wife Wilma, 4 children, Bruce (Teresa) Wine, Jodie (Martin) Folkerts, Brian (Sherry) Wine & Lisa Wine; 7 grandchildren, Danielle, Kara and Jordan Folkerts, Tristan & Lauren Wine, Emma & Isabella Wine; his brother Carl (Gayleen) Wine; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Marvin was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Martha Wine. Funeral services will be held at the Woodynook Christian Reformed Church on Saturday January 19th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Woodynook Cemetery.
