ZABACK (NEE: LEMKE) It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Zaback of Calgary at the age of 51 years.Judy went to be with her Lord on November 27th, 2005. She was born on March 25, 1954 in Red Deer. She was raised on the family farm in Spruceview and graduated from Spruceview High School. She worshipped at Christ Lutheran Church in the Craig District. After High School, Judy moved to Red Deer and was employed at the Bank of Nova Scotia. In 1978 she was married to Jim and they made their home in Calgary. She was a very caring person who loved her family dearly, was active in church and the community and was a dedicated hockey mom. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jim, son Braden and daughter Melissa all of Calgary. She will be dearly missed by her loving parents Helmut and Irene Lemke of Red Deer, two sisters Linda Hartrick (Jim) of Leduc, Theresa Westera (Jack) of Red Deer, two sisters-in-law Judith Churchill of Calgary, Janice Hay (Henry) of Calgary, mother-in-law Betty Zaback of Kelowna, B.C. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her precious pets Eddie and Tucker. A funeral service for the late Judy Zaback will be held from Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 18 Selkirk Blvd., Red Deer, AB on Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend James Schuelke officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice or the Calgary Humane Society, 1323-36 Avenue N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 6T6.
