Athlete of the week - February 2
Red Deer Catalina Swim Club member Morgann Bruin, 14, earned a berth in the Canadian age class championships in Montreal in July with a strong performance at a Lethbridge meet during the weekend. Bruin took top honours in the girls’ 13-15 age division 50-metre freestyle with a time of 30.80 seconds and was runner-up in the 200m butterfly, completing the race in 27.56 seconds.
