RDC badminton team takes third

EDMONTON — The RDC badminton team placed third in the third meet of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference season at Concordia University College during the weekend.

Mary Smith once again led the RDC team, placing second in ladies’ singles, teaming with Mizuki Awai to take second in women’s doubles and hooking up with Brian Smith to place fourth in mixed doubles.

Awai was sixth in ladies’ singles while Jeff Cazes was eighth in men’s singles.

Cazes and Smith were sixth in men’s doubles.
