CAMROSE – The RDC Kings return home tonight needing a win to remain alive in the Alberta Colleges Men’s Hockey League playoffs.

The Kings dropped a 3-1 decision to the University of Alberta, Augustana Vikings in the opening game of the best-of-three quarter-final series Friday.

The Kings opened the scoring in the first period only to see the Vikings pull even after 40 minutes. The Vikings added a pair of third-period goals. The Kings held a 42-35 edge in shots on goal.

Tonight’s game goes at 7 p.m. at the Penhold Regional Multiplex. If a third game is necessary it’s Sunday at 6 p.m. in Camrose.
