Red Deer golfers finish well at junior provincials

BRAGG CREEK — Matt Williams of Calgary was the runaway winner of the provincial junior boy’s golf championship at Wintergreen. Williams shot a final round five-under par 66 Friday to capture the 72-hole event with a 13-under 271 total, six strokes ahead of Patrick Murphy of Calgary, who had a 69 Friday.
