An agricultural lawyer will be in Trochu on Jan. 25 to discuss the Alberta Land Stewardship Act. The Western Stock Growers’ Association is co-sponsoring a speaking tour by Keith Wilson that includes 10 rural Alberta communities. The association has expressed concerns about the effect the legislation could have on Albertans’ property rights. The Trochu presentation is at 7 p.m. at the Trochu Community Centre.
