Blackfalds Gas n’ Wash has earned recognition in two categories of the town’s 2009 Business of the Year Awards.

Blackfalds Gas n’ Wash has earned recognition in two categories of the town’s 2009 Business of the Year Awards.

The business received the Long Term Service Award and the Customer Service Award. In other categories, Blackfalds Family Foods was presented with the Community Involvement Award, and After the Grind coffee shop was named New Business of the Year.

The awards were organized through the Town of Blackfalds’ Economic Development and Tourism Board, and the Blackfalds Chamber of Commerce. Nominations were accepted for each award category, and then ballot boxes set up at several locations in Blackfalds during August and September.
