Chamber host anti-fraud presentation

The Red Deer Chamber of Commerce will host an Aug. 26 presentation on fighting fraud.

Scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon at the Chamber office, it will provide information on preventing debit and credit card fraud, check and money order fraud, identity theft and card skimming.

Participants will also learn how to identify counterfeit notes using security features, and what to do when they receive a counterfeit bill.

RCMP Sgt. Glen Demmon and Bank of Canada analyst Marc Trudel will conduct the free presentation.
