A Red Deer architectural technologist has been named to the executive committee of an international trade association with nearly 40,000 members.
Carolyn Cheetham, who operates Design Works by Cheetham, is national secretary of the National Kitchen & Bath Association. The association represents kitchen and bath professionals, and has 70 local chapters in Canada and the United States.
As one of six members on the NKBA Executive Committee, Cheetham will help develop policy and make decisions for the association. She will also serve as an ambassador to companies, associations and other organizations in the building and design fields.
Cheetham is also a certified master kitchen and bath designer.
