Cone Castle owner Peggy Bittorf serves up a cotton candy ice cream waffle cone at her store’s new location at 255 Davison Dr., the former site of Burgs restaurant and before that Caroline’s Cappuccino Cafe. Cone Castle operated in Red Deer’s Fairview subdivision for many years before relocating earlier this month. It offers Foothills Creamery ice cream, as well as homemade chili, soups and sandwiches, and also carries cupcakes from the Today’s Sweet Cakery. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and noon to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
