Several Red Deer home builders are vying with their counterparts across the province for recognition.
True-Line Contracting, Laebon Developments and Sorento Custom Homes have been named finalists for Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing.
True-Line is in the running in two award categories: Renovations Under $125,000 and Single-family Dwellings — $425,000 to $549,999; Laebon is a finalist for Multi-family — Wood Frame Apartment; and Sorento has been chosen for consideration in the Multi-family — Townhome, Duplex or Villa Under $250,000. There are three finalists in each of the 16 categories, with one builder also to be chosen to receive the Ralph Scurfield Builder of the Year Award.
There were 209 entries submitted by builders from across Alberta.
