Husky looks to boost production

Husky Energy Inc. said Wednesday it is looking to significantly boost oil and gas production over the next decade, with much of the growth coming from its oilsands and Southeast Asia holdings.

CALGARY — Husky Energy Inc. said Wednesday it is looking to significantly boost oil and gas production over the next decade, with much of the growth coming from its oilsands and Southeast Asia holdings. By 2020, Calgary-based Husky (TSX:HSE) aims to produce more than 100,000 barrels of crude per day from the oilsands and an additional 50,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of natural gas, mainly from Asia, chief operating office Rob Peabody told investors and analysts.
