Lean Bronze certification training coming to city

Anyone interested in getting the skinny on lean will have the opportunity March 5 and 6. Productivity Alberta, an Alberta Finance and Enterprise program, and Central Alberta Regional Innovation Network are bringing Lean Bronze certification training to the city.

Anyone interested in getting the skinny on lean will have the opportunity March 5 and 6. Productivity Alberta, an Alberta Finance and Enterprise program, and Central Alberta Regional Innovation Network are bringing Lean Bronze certification training to the city. The two-day program will be offered at Red Deer College and will consist of a preparation course and certification exam. Lean production minimizes wasted resources while maximizing value creation, and is being adopted by an increasing number of businesses to enhance their productivity and competitiveness. The lean program, which consists of bronze, silver and gold levels, was designed by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Association for Manufacturing Excellence and The Shingo Prize for Operational Excellence.
