A AAA Electric worker digs to install underground lines on the new Holiday Inn being built in Gasoline Alley on the east side of Hwy 2 on Thursday. The full-service hotel will have 111 rooms, a 500-person conference centre and banquet facilities, a restaurant, a lounge, and a waterslide and pool. Shazma Charania, director of operations with developer Zainul & Shazma Holdings (1997) Ltd., said the hotel is expected to open at the beginning of next year. Another Gasoline Alley hotel, a 110-unit Hampton Inn and Suites, opened on the west side of Gasoline Alley earlier this month.
