A noise-reduction company with strong ties to Delburne has a new man at its helm.

A noise-reduction company with strong ties to Delburne has a new man at its helm. Noise Solutions Inc. has named Scott McDonald its president.

He succeeds his father Rod, who becomes vice-president of international operations and innovations. Scott, who previously served as general manager of the company, is a former Delburne resident.

In 2005, he received the Young Entrepreneur Award for Alberta from the Business Development Bank of Canada, and the following year was named the Calgary Chamber of Commerce Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

Noise Solutions specializes in industrial noise analysis and suppression. It was founded by Scott and Rod in 1997, and currently has offices in Calgary, Delburne and Denver, Colo
