Pidherney’s Construction heavy equipment excavates for the new Penhold Regional Multiplex Friday.
The 65,000 square foot, $20-million building located on the town’s northeast fringe will include a regulation size ice rink, seating, dressing rooms, a walking track and multi-function room in its first phase set for completion in the spring of 2010.
Eventually, the facility will include an ice rink, fitness centre, indoor track, meeting rooms, library and gymnasium.
