The proposed expansion of the Rancher's Valley Inn at 5017 49th St. has begun in form of a massive excavation on the south side of the existing building.
The two-storey hotel is to expanded by two floors and a four-storey addition on the south side.
Potters Hands Developments Ltd. which acquired the building last Junes, plans to develop it into affordable housing and commercial space.
