Red Deer Club Café is back in business.
The landmark restaurant at 5019 Ross St. reopened under new ownership on Wednesday.
The business had been closed for nearly a year, before being resurrected by the Zhang family.
The original Club Cafe, which dated back to the 1920s and was once a popular dining spot for travellers between Calgary and Edmonton, closed in 2006.
A new restaurant operating as Red Deer Club Café opened in the same premises in 2009, but later closed.
The new restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.
It offers a buffet until 3 p.m. daily, and menu service thereafter.
Both Chinese and Western food are served.
