Red Deer’s 31st annual home show is poised to attract about 10,000 people to see products and services offered by about 200 exhibitors, says the president of the association that puts it all together. Natalie Larkam, president of the Canadian Home Builders Association, Central Alberta, said consumer confidence is strong, encouraging exhibitors to feel optimistic about the results they will achieve at this year’s show. Celebrity guests this year include hosts Jim Hole and Linda Bodo from City TV’s Your City and Breakfast Television, along with syndicated newspaper columnist Reena Nerbas.

Red Deer Home Show takes place at Westerner Park on the first weekend in March. Doors are open from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors 55 and over. Children under 12 get in free if accompanied by an adult.
