Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU) said Monday that its oilsands production during April averaged approximately 333,000 barrels per day.
Year-to-date oilsands production at the end of April averaged approximately 234,000 bpd, the company said.
The numbers include upgraded sweet and sour synthetic crude oil and diesel, as well as non-upgraded bitumen sold directly to the market. Suncor is expected to release its first-quarter financial results today. Shares in Suncor were down seven cents at $34.68 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Monday.
