PSAC spring conference slated for Red Deer in April
Transportation, labour and personnel development will be focuses of the Petroleum Services Association of Canada’s 2011 Spring Conference. Scheduled for the Capri Centre in Red Deer on April 12 and 13, the event will feature presentations on topical issues in each of these areas. Cost for PSAC members is $598.50 plus $99.75 for an April 12 dinner, with both prices inclusive of GST. For non-members, the cost is $651 for the conference and $120.75 for the dinner. Rifco auto lending program expands
Red Deer-based Rifco Inc. (TSXV: RFC) announced on Monday that its auto lending program is now available through Canada’s largest national online credit application network. Rifco, which finances new and used auto purchases, said in November that it was joining the DealerTrack Canada Inc. network. A pilot testing phase has now been completed and a broader launch has begun, the company said in a news release on Monday. It added that DealerTrack will put it on comparable footing with other, larger auto lenders.
