A worker removes panels from the east side of the former CHCA-TV building at 2840 Bremner Ave.
The work is part of extensive renovations being done to the building by its owner, Jim Pattison Developments Ltd. CHCA-TV, which was operated by Canwest Global Communications Corp., ceased operations last August after broadcasting for more than 50 years.
The first floor of the building — which consists of approximately 13,800 square feet — is now available for lease, while the second floor is occupied by radio stations 106.7 The Drive and Big 105.
Both are owned by the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group.
