Thousands of items from kitchen equipment, to motel fixtures, to hot tubs and vehicles went under the Montgomery Auction Services gavel Tuesday as the Wolf Creek Inn and Cheese Toast Restaurant on Highway 2 north of Lacombe went to auction. Formerly called the Juniper Lodge the hotel and restaurant have been a fixture on the landscape since it opened in 1962. The building will be demolished to make way for future highway expansion.
