Workshop scheduled on the Dynamics of Business Families

A family business consultant will share her insights next Tuesday at a day-long workshop in Red Deer.

A family business consultant will share her insights next Tuesday at a day-long workshop in Red Deer. Denise Paré-Julien is the former president of the Business Families Foundation and a member of the Canadian Association for Entrepreneurial Families. She will be conducting a session on The Dynamics of Business Families, with a focus on the challenges and issues facing family businesses. Much of the information will be geared to insurance industry professionals, with the Alberta Insurance Council offering continuing education credits to participants. The event is being organized through Creating Pathways for Entrepreneurial Families, which is part of the University of Alberta’s Alberta Business Family Institute. The Dynamics of Business Families will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Red Deer Lodge. Cost is $199, plus GST.
