Cancellation of town hall meetings on parks was a mistake

Congratulations to managing editor David Marsden for pointing out the flaws in the government’s reasoning for cancelling meaningful dialogue with Albertans about management of Bighorn Country, and instead, implement a farce of a process, namely the telephone town hall.

Congratulations to managing editor David Marsden for pointing out the flaws in the government’s reasoning for cancelling meaningful dialogue with Albertans about management of Bighorn Country, and instead, implement a farce of a process, namely the telephone town hall.

Town halls are face to face with the participants, and telephone ones do not allow the time or opportunity to fully participate and then allow government officials to say they consulted.

How sad that we have come to this.
