Red Deer continues to surprise and amaze me.
Here we are celebrating another year of spectacular successes in our business community. From bakeries to bars – barbershops to bodyshops and everything in between – there is so much love for what these people provide to our community. It is truly an honour to contribute to this section and see how many great innovators and long-time servers of the city there are to celebrate.
Their work is surely an exercise in patience, perseverance and passion. It's inspiring to know how dedicated these individuals are to making Red Deer a better place through the services they provide.
It really makes you proud to call this city home when you see how much of an impact all the Best of Red Deer winners and nominees have had over the past year. They help foster growth and work hard to provide extremely valuable services.
The Best of Red Deer is a careful reminder to shop local and support local businesses, as they are the lifeblood of our community.
They support charity initiatives and local sports teams. They create employment opportunities and are always there to lend a helping hand when called upon.
This list is a wonderful opportunity for Central Albertans to expand their experiences in the city. Maybe there is a new restaurant or cafe mentioned in our list that you’ve never heard of or a garden centre that can help you freshen up your yard as summer fast approaches.
In addition to those businesses, we must also extend our thanks to our dedicated readers, who voted enthusiastically for businesses they would like to see celebrated and honoured in this section.
Without you, this section isn’t possible.
Ultimately, we hope this section can be a jumping-off point to helping foster a stronger, more united community.
Once again, thank you for your support and thank you to all the great businesses that make this community a special place.
