A harvest musical montage

Hey all,

Some of you will recall a blog I wrote a couple weeks back — Helpless at harvest time chronicling the early struggles we endured on the Paré farm trying to get this year's harvest underway.

I'm happy to report the 2010 crops are now safe in the bins. The big green machine has returned to the shed for another 11 months of slumber and this weekend farm kid has returned to his 9-5 office job at the newspaper.

Despite some early obstacles, this ended up being one of the best harvests in our farm's long history. The incredible canola yields more than compensated for a somewhat disappointing wheat crop.

Ignoring my dad's frequent requests to "shut the damn camera off," I took a few breaks here and there to compile a short music video for my faithful blog readers.

This year's production is set to the Kenny Loggins hit, Highway to the Danger Zone — it just seemed to fit.

Hope you enjoy!
