Canadian country music star Gord Bamford, centre, of Lacombe, and his band took to the stage at Billy Bobs in Red Deer Tuesday to celebrate his Country Billboard chart topping song‚ When Your Lips Are Close to Mine‚ from November 2013. Bamford, along with a room full of fans and KG Country 95.5, enjoyed an evening of food and music and recognition. It was also announced at the event Bamford’s album Country Junkie had been nominated for a Juno Award in the best country album category.
