See why Pope Benedict really quit his job at this month’s Bull Skit.

The papal retirement will be the theme of one of the improv and comedy sketches featured during the popular Friday and Saturday shows at the Scott Block in downtown Red Deer.

Local Bull Skit troupe members will also teach about the joys of parenting and the ins and outs of club hopping.

As a bonus, watch as nerd girls Alice and Sarah finally get Valentine’s Day dates after 21 years.

This month’s special musical guest is Night at the Chelsea, a gritty Red Deer-based rock band that’s planning to summon characteristic raw emotion and energy while playing unplugged.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. There’s a cash bar. Bull Skit contains mature language and adult themes. Tickets are $23 ($18 students and seniors) from Sunworks at 4924 50th St. or by calling 403-341-3455, or from eventbrite.com.

The Bull Skit troupe is also available for parties or staff development exercises by calling Jenna at 403-872-6706.
