You’ve seen him in Trailer Park Boys: The Movie, and NBC’s Last Comic Standing, now stand-up comedian Gerry Dee is coming to Red Deer’s Memorial Centre.
Dee, who won the Canadian Comedy Awards Best Male Stand-up Comic in 2008, will perform on Saturday, March 26, at a fundraiser for the Central Alberta Emergency Shelter.
Dee is best known for his work on the sports channel The Score, on the segment Gerry Dee: Sports Reporter.
He has also appeared on CBS’s Star Search, the HBO Comedy Arts Festival, as well as the CBC mini-series Canada Russia ’72.
The evening of comedy hosted by the Piper Creek Optimist Club will raise money for programs and services at the shelter for Central Alberta women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are $49.30 from the Black Knight Ticket Centre.
