Canada suffered a rough and tough defeat on Saturday, and were blown out by Ireland and Fergus McFadden in the second half in Toronto, 40-14. But the Canadians led 14-12 just after the half and James Pritchard set an all-time Canadian scoring record with 494 career points, surpassing Gareth Rees's amount of 491.
