Enjoy a lunch-break concert at the library on Thursday

Local soprano Kimberley Denis will perform a free noon-hour concert at the Red Deer Public Library next week.

Local soprano Kimberley Denis will perform a free noon-hour concert at the Red Deer Public Library next week.

Denis will croon Joni Mitchell’s Both Sides Now and Van Morrison’s Moondance, as well as traditional a number of folk tunes and songs by Benjamin Britten from 12:15 to 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Snell Auditorium.

The event is part of the First Thursdays concert series, which on July 2 will feature pianist Cheryl Cooney.

Admission is free and coffee and tea will be provided by Cafe Noir.
